Old Shawnee Days
Old Shawnee Daysis back for its 56th year! The weekend includes a variety of live entertainment, featuring local bands and artists, crafts and vendors, a carnival and more. The parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. Find more information here.

Kansas City PrideFest
To celebrate Pride Month, Kansas City’s PrideFest is taking over Theis Park this weekend. There will be local and national entertainment, vendors, food trucks and family activities. Don’t miss the parade on Saturday morning going down Broadway Boulevard.Find more details here.

Jazzoo
The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium is ready for the wildest fundraiser in town —Jazzoo! The annual 21-and-over event features unlimited food, drinks and entertainment. Proceeds support taking care of the KC Zoo’s animals.

First Fridays Weekend in the West Bottoms
Brides, grab your groom and head to the West Bottoms this weekend. This weekend’s First Fridays theme isWedding Bells in the Bottoms. Shops will be open, and there will be live music and food trucks. There’s also a wine walk at participating shops, an outdoor bar, free tastings, photo stations, dog adoptions and wedding displays.

Midwest Fest
Midwest Fest is a multi-day celebration on June 7–9 for gamers, creators, and artists of the Midwest region. The festival highlights their talents and gives attendees the opportunity to compete on a large stage, while learning from the best in the industry.

Tim McGraw: Standing Room Only Tour
Three-time Grammy Award winner Tim McGraw is taking the stage in Kansas City on Saturday. He is bringing his Standing Room Only Tour to the T-Mobile Center with special guest Carly Pearce.

Future Stages Festival
This community event spotlights hundreds of Kansas City-area youth performers as they perform throughout the day. Festival attendees can participate in crafts and activities.

Sugar Creek’s 38th Annual Slavic Festival
The 38th Annual Sugar Creek Slavic Festival returns this weekend at the William Henry Harrison Park and Mike Onka Pavillion. Slavic Fest celebrates the history of Eastern and Central communities in Kansas City and will feature the Women in Slavic Arts.
You can experience Slavic heritage with two days of music, food, dance, drink, arts, fashion design and traditional food from Croatia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Serbia, and Poland.

Royals vs Padres: K-State Night
Head to Kaufman Stadium Friday night for the Royals vs. Padres and celebrate your Wildcat pride. When you purchase a University Night theme ticket, you’ll receive a special crewneck so you can sport your school and the Royals
Royals and K-State co-branded crewnecks will only be distributed inside Gate A. There will also be fireworks following the game.

First Fridays in the Crossroads

Arts in the Park Festival
Arts in the Park showcases art from fine artists and makers at Macken Park in North Kansas City. The festival promotes local artists from Kansas and Missouri. The two-day festival features over 60 local artists and makers, live music, a Beer Garden, local food trucks, a petting zoo, bounce houses, and more.
