25 years ago, I started my career as a Lifeguard & Swimming Instructor in the US. This photo was taken at the Kennebec River in Maine, during a white water rafting trip with one of our groups. Today, working in tech and still a water sports fan, I am happy to be able to combine these two, building a Water & Safety app especially for children #lifeguard #watersafety #tech

The new year starts with new opportunities. Next week I will start as a Legal Technology Advisor at Clifford Chance for the Continental European (CE) Region and will join the European team. This means Lex Creatives will stop. I do want to thank all our business clients for their trust and innovative projects we have done. I want to thank the Hogeschool Utrecht for giving us the opportunity to involve us with their program, we were happy to contribute. Thanks to all the students of many different schools and universities for cooperating in our non-profit projects, to make the law more accessible and understandable!

In september 2008 I took a sabbatical, not only to prepare and start our legal tech & legal design company but also to support our son with his athlete career. It has been an adventure, with endless training & workouts and travelling to many countries to compete in international tournaments, including the World- and European championships and ending this season with a #1 ranking on the official world ranking.
